Hello Dave,
Some of my customers bought a new AGIE/Charmilles CUT E350 EDM wire machine. They sent me a sample program (attached), generated by FIKUS (a CAM program which has a partnership agreement with AGIE/Charmilles). It seems that the program includes the technology tables inside it, rather than calling them form the CNC memory (the usual way I am familiar with). Did you ever run into such problem and if yes did you find a solution (implying the use of the existing AGIE/Charmilles post(s)) ? The users didn't know if it's possible to call the technology tables from the program. Actually, the didn't know a lot about their new machine. Unfortunately, wire EDM isn't one of my favorite topics also. The guys from SprutCAM are willing to develop a new post, but I believe it is not worthwhile to develop a post to generate a program FIKUS-like, because the of the costs, which could be greater than the program itself (SprutCAM Wire EDM).
