As an active user of Sprut expert for complex models, I find the stc files are quite large as they contain massive iges files. Upon completion of Sprut projects, I always compress the files
with Winzip to form a zipped file (.zip). It would be extremely useful and a great asset to file management if Sprut could offer an option to save and compress a file upon completion (as well as the existing save option) and also be able to open a zip file and extract its stc into Sprut without having to perform this task externally.

That sounds like a very sensible idea, I like it.
Do you prefer the way projects are saved in version 4 i.e. just *.stc files, or would you prefer the way it was done in version 3 (*.stc & * .mcd)?
