I am trying to machine a flange. My intent is to drill the three holes in one operation, then mount it on a fixture from two of the drilled holes and use an end mill to do the ID hole and outside contour. This is probably a basic question but, how do I use the part from the previous operation (with the holes) as the part in the second operation. The first will be in the vise, the second will be held in a fixture by 4-40 shcs.

This tutorial is for an earlier version of SprutCAM, but it should still be fairly relevant:

Sprut-UK,
Sorry I missed your reply. I watched the video but failed to see the relevance. I have since went ahead and drilled the holes in the exhaust mounting flange, two #43/.089 holes and one .375 in the center of the part. When I made this part previously I ignored the fact it was already drilled and while machining the hole from .375 to .437 and let it work its way from the center out. I know It should recognize work done in a previous operation but cant figure it out. Here is the file I'm working on. I can figure out how to set up the machining profiles, but not how to get it to recognize part done in a previous operation. I also have recognized a reoccurring theme that if I don't know the exact terminology to search for I cant hind anything.

Hi Art, thank you for the clarification of your question. I have created this short video that I hope answers your question? Attached is the updated version of your SprutCAM 10 project.
