I'm trying to get a Rotary Machining operation working in v7. It's like trying to pull a mule up a ladder, but I seem to be making some headway. One issue involves the direction of the surface normal vectors on the job assignment faces.

How can you tell which way the vector is pointing? It isn't visible on any screen I can find. In Model Mode, if I right-click on a face and then click Inverse, the appearance of the entire model changes, alternating between a bright clear appearance and a darker cross-hatched appearance. I don't seem to be able to invert individual faces and can't tell which direction the normal vector is pointing.

Am I overlooking something, or is this just another quirk in v7? Thanks for any help.

I haven't done much with the 'Rotary machining' operation, but if you attach the project that you are having problems with I'll take a look.
